SMS & Text Messaging
LVB BodySculpt & MedSpa uses SMS text messaging to communicate with clients for the following purposes:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Appointment rescheduling and cancellation notifications
- Responses to client inquiries sent via text
- Wellness guide delivery and follow-up (when requested)
- General spa communications you have opted into
How to Opt In
You may opt into SMS communications from LVB MedSpa by:
- Online booking: Booking an appointment at lvb-booking.web.app/book/ and checking the dedicated SMS-consent checkbox at the final confirmation step (see the step-by-step walkthrough below).
- Texting our business number at (914) 639-2429
- Verbally consenting in person at our front desk, 3650 Hill Blvd, Jefferson Valley, NY 10535
SMS consent is optional and is never bundled with our reservation policy or any other agreement — you must actively check a separate, dedicated SMS-consent checkbox to receive text messages.
Online Opt-In Walkthrough
The screens below reproduce, verbatim, the consent language a customer sees when opting in to SMS during the online booking flow at lvb-booking.web.app/book/. They are provided to allow regulators, carriers, and prospective customers to review our opt-in process without needing to create an account.
SMS notification disclosure shown before sign-in
Before any account is created, every visitor to the booking page sees this notice explaining that SMS consent will be requested as part of booking. No personal information is collected at this step.
When you create an account and book, we’ll ask for your mobile number so we can send appointment confirmations, 24-hour reminders, and 1-hour reminders by SMS. SMS consent is optional and is collected via a dedicated checkbox at the final confirmation step — your booking will not proceed unless you actively opt in.

Phone number field with inline consent language
When the customer creates an account, the phone-number field is labeled and immediately followed by SMS consent text. Phone number is required only if the customer wishes to receive SMS notifications.

Two separate checkboxes — SMS consent is optional
At the final confirmation step the customer sees two separate checkboxes. The first — the reservation policy — is required to confirm the booking. The second — SMS consent — is entirely optional. The Confirm Booking button is enabled as soon as the reservation policy is checked, regardless of whether the SMS-consent box is checked. SMS consent is never a condition of booking and is never bundled with any other agreement, in compliance with the TCPA.
Transactional SMS only — no marketing
After opt-in, the customer receives only the following types of SMS, all originating from our verified business number and all containing identification, opt-out instructions, and only first-party links to lvb-booking.web.app.

How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message from us
- Texting STOP to (914) 639-2429
- Contacting us at info@lvbbodysculpt.com to request removal
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further marketing messages. Note: opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from sending essential appointment-related communications.
Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency varies based on appointment activity and any services or guides you have requested. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. LVB MedSpa is not responsible for any charges incurred.
Privacy of Your Mobile Number
Your mobile phone number, including SMS opt-in status and consent, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subprocessors is limited to those required to deliver the service: Twilio (our SMS delivery carrier) and Firebase / Google Cloud (the platform that hosts our booking application and stores appointment records). These subprocessors are contractually prohibited from using the information for any other purpose.
TCPA Compliance
Our SMS messaging practices comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable FCC regulations. We obtain express written consent before sending marketing text messages and honor all opt-out requests promptly.
